EMEA Hotel Programme

Our client is a pharmaceutical company with headquarters in Japan and the UK. The company employs about 15,000 people in 30 countries but only works with HRG across the EMEA region.

After years of managing the EMEA hotel programme internally, the travel manager wanted someone who could take the entire 2011 project off her hands freeing up precious time to concentrate on other elements of travel procurement.

Once the contract was awarded to HRG Consulting, the travel manager withdrew from the day-to-day running of the project, leaving our team to deal with local contacts and conduct negotiations with hotels. The team had a six-week timescale to devise an EMEA Hotel Programme.

The process was managed from start to finish by the HRG Consulting team and delivered on time.

Handing over the responsibility for the entire process meant we could get up and running quickly and use our existing knowledge and experience of the client to put an effective programme in place.

The client travel manager says: “I would like to thank you and acknowledge all the hard work involved in pulling this programme together, with pretty much zero involvement or assistance from me.
